Consider stopping by on a Wednesday to spend time with our guests.  Clothing and product donations accepted Wednesdays 9-4pm at our Needs Pantry located behind The Rock Mission Center. (located just across from Trigs and next to Tone Zone)

Additional ways to support Northwoods Share

Gifts of Stock
Instead of donating the after-tax proceeds from the sale of your appreciated securities, consider increasing your impact by donating stocks, bonds, ETFs, and/or mutual funds, directly to Northwoods Share thereby saving any Capital Gains tax liability you may have.

​IRA Gifting
One way you can support Northwoods Share is by taking advantage of a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). Currently, individuals age 73 and older are subject to taxable required minimum distributions (RMDs) from their IRA/401k retirement accounts each year. With a QCD, the distribution is directed to Northwoods Share and not included in taxable income, which offers donors age 70 1/2 and older a way to satisfy distributions on a non-taxed basis.
